why are there so many people in San Diego but no meetups?

there are a bazillion people interested in going to meetups for modeling in San Diego yet there is no organizer. seriously? i'm thinking about starting one but i just had a baby so i don't know how much time i will be able to put into it! is it worth the effort, will the flocks who are interested actually come? c'mon ya'll! what say ye?
